The Benchmark for online content quality

As one of the highlights of the Content Summit, IP TOP 2000 recognises the best content in Europe´s online industry. On the evening of 16 November, during the Content Summit 2000 in Zurich, the IP Top Awards were handed out in nine categories. Wireless, Sports, News, Finance and Corporate Communications are the first areas that were recognised. A team of experts compared the finalist publications on elements such as «user-friendliness», «speed» and «newsworthiness». The judges used a very sophisticated judging tool, designed by t.o.p. GRID, to decide which publications deserved this year´s awards.

But there is more... In addition to the annual Awards program, IP Top set up a directory for the European content market. Every publisher is free to enter publications into this directory. The material has to be focussed on the European market and fit into one of the 25+ categories the IP Top Directory covers. Being listed in this directory is synonymous with being among Europe´s best in online content.

Continuous monitoring IP Top is designing a system that continuously monitors Europe´s best content. In the nearby future, publications will have the possibility to get a frequent update about their strengths and weaknesses in comparison to their opponents.
